MISSION:

The U.S. Army Veterinary Treatment Facility provides pet care for the privately owned animals of our active duty, retirees, reservists on active duty orders, and all dependants.  Veterinary services are authorized for all pets owned by persons eligible for medical care through the DoD.  Services include a wide range of care to include preventative medicine, sick call, health examinations and certificates, microchip implantation, and pet import/export needs.

APPOINTMENTS:

Services are provided on an appointment basis.  Appointments can be made by calling 937-257-6853 during normal business hours.   For the safety of our customers and other animals, please ensure all pets are on a leash or in a carrier at all times.

LOCATION:

Gate 15 A – at the first light take a left onto Communication Blvd. and we are the first building on the right.
Gate 12 A – Before entering through gate security make a left hand turn and follow the access road to enter in through Gate 15A.  Proceed as above.

AFTER HOURS:

After hour emergency services are not provided.  In the event of an emergency please contact your local animal emergency hospital.

PET TRAVEL:

Due to the frequent change in requirements we encourage you to call the VTF as soon as you are advised of your PCS location so we can provide you with the most current protocols.  The USDA link can be utilized to gather information regarding specific location requirements.  The Army link can be used to locate Veterinary Treatment Facilities nationwide.
